Booby’s Bay is just below Trevose Head and this view is southwards looking down the craggy coast all the way to the headlands off Newquay. The painting thought is as much about mood as place and I have tried hard to capture the feel of an early evening  with a gentle swell breaking at long intervals on a beautiful un-peopled shore; a place for tranquillity and contemplation.
