Here the tide is almost fully out and I have painted a few people exploring places that are usually several meters under the waves. The dark cliffs behind the island drop down into the narrow passage that separates the island from the mainland, a great place to explore at low tide. The picture is anchored around a few bright accents, the brilliant blue surf boards and turquoise tent set either side of the red/orange figure.
