The view is to the north-west from St Cadoc’s Point to Cateclews Point with the tide very low and the sea almost calm. The three figures in the foreground were carefully positioned to ‘anchor’ and animate the picture, with the bright orange/red dress set to sing against the cool blues of the sea and sky.
