Bow creek is a tiny tributary of the Dart into which the Harbourne River flows near Tuckenhay. The buildings in the middle distance cluster round the Maltster’s Quay where in the past boats would have been loaded with corn from the local farms and cider that was made on the quayside and lime would have been brought ashore for the lime kiln close by.
