This part of the West Dart can be easily seen from the road between Ashburton and Princetown as the river takes a big slow loop close to Dunnabridge Farm. I have tried to stress the long meandering journey of the river by emphasising the warm colours in the foreground and leading the viewer off into the ‘wild blue yonder’ of the distance.
