This is the view from the South West Coast Path, just before it dips down to meet Bantham, where you can get a ferry over the Avon to the path on the far side. Burgh Island is best known for its beautiful Art Deco hotel which is only accessible by ‘sea tractor’ when the tide cuts off the island from the mainland.
